Monte del Frá, Cá del Magro – Custoza Superiore DOC 2023

Ca del Magro Custoza Superiore DOC 2023 from Monte del Fra is a white wine from the Veneto region, Italy, produced from carefully selected local grape varieties, including Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Incrocio Manzoni and Cortese. The wine stands out with an intense straw-yellow color with pale green glints and a complex aromatic profile, including notes of white flowers, golden apple and delicate vanilla nuances.
On the palate it is fresh, dry and full, with pronounced minerality and a long, lasting finish. The wine was aged for 6 months on the lees in steel vessels, with a small part (about 4-5%) fermented and aged in small oak barrels for about 4 months, giving it additional complexity and structure.
Ca del Magro 2022 has been awarded high scores by wine critics, including 93 points from Wine Enthusiast and 17.5 points from Jancis Robinson, confirming its quality and ageing potential.
Recommended to be served at a temperature between 10 and 12°C and pairs excellently with fish dishes, white meat, pasta, risotto, as well as Asian and vegetarian cuisine.
