J. de Villebois, Sancerre Rosé 2023

Sancerre Rose 2023 from J. de Villebois is an elegant, balanced rose, produced from 100% Pinot Noir, grown on the limestone and Kimmeridgian soils of the hills in the Sancerre appellation. These terroirs give the wine a characteristic minerality and freshness.
The wine stands out with a light hazelnut color and a delicate aroma reminiscent of red forest fruit and citrus with spicy nuances. On the palate it is fresh and harmonious, with pronounced acidity and a long, aromatic finish.
The vinification process includes brief maceration (6-12 hours) and fermentation in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature, which preserves the freshness and fruity character of the wine.
Sancerre Rose 2023 is an excellent choice for pairing with grilled vegetables, Nicoise salad with goat cheese and beetroot, as well as seafood.
