Caparzo, Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 2017

Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 2019 is a special version of Brunello, produced only in the best vintages, from selected vineyard plots on the estate. The winery uses grapes from the northern and southern slopes of Montalcino, facing south-southeast, at about 220-270m above sea level, with rocky, sandy soils. The wine ages extensively to develop complexity and structure, standing out with aromas of blackberry, plum, spice, cedar wood and smoke; the palate is full-bodied, with harmonious tannins and good acidity, giving it a 20-40 year ageing potential.
