Comte Lafond, Sancerre Blanc Grande Cuvée 2023

Sancerre Blanc Grande Cuvee 2023 from Comte Lafond is a refined white wine from the Sancerre AOC appellation in the Loire Valley, France, produced entirely from Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of about 300 meters, on soils rich in limestone and flint, which gives the wine a characteristic minerality. Complex aromas and a refined bouquet with notes of citrus fruit (lemon, grapefruit), white flowers and mineral nuances, complemented by delicate accents of honey and wax.
Fresh and elegant, with pronounced acidity and flavors of white fruit (peach, pear) and exotic fruit (lychee, mango). The finish is long and harmonious, with pronounced minerality and notes of ripe lemon.
